About Me
Barbara was born and raised as a 5th generation Red Wing, Minnesotan. She has been married to her husband George, for over 26 years! She received an Associate Degree in Commerce, Mesa Junior College and Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Denver. She also obtained a Certificate of Interior Design from Emily Griffith. Her favorite escapes are Southampton, NY and the lakes of Minnesota. She has a lifelong love of music and her favorite song is Take It Easy by The Eagles. Her primary passion is for Interior design and browsing estate sales. She holds her best friends she grew up and went to college with dear to her hear and loves spending time with her grandchildren. Her biggest regret is never playing golf with her father. She secretly wanted to be Nancy Drew as a child.
Barbara came to Colorado for college and has been here ever since. After working in retail and advertising for several years, she became a real estate broker in 1991. She chose Leonard Leonard & Associates because of the collaborative effort in the office and our extensive knowledge of the older homes in the “Heart of Denver”. After 25 years in the real estate business, it is the only company she has worked with. She specializes in older homes in the heart of Denver, income and investment properties, 1031 exchange properties, and estate and conservatorship properties. Barbara has a flair for marketing and staging which brings top dollar to her sellers. She has mastered the art of finding the home, neighborhood, and flavor of life that her clients are looking for.
