Sunday, June 5: The Robert Speer Centennial, 5:00 pm–7:00 pm

This is a free event commemorating or mourning the 100th anniversary of Robert Speer’s return to power.  I draws on Phil Goodstein’s book, Robert Speer’s Denver.  It is at the Book Bar at the southeast corner of W. 43rd Avenue and Tennyson Street.

Wednesday, June 8: West Highlands, 6:30 pm–8:30 pm

Meet in front of Edison School on the east side of Quitman Street between West 33rd and West 35th avenues.  (Quitman is the “Q” in the alphabet west of Lowell Boulevard.)  The cost is $10.00.

Saturday, June 11: Ghost Walk, 7:00 pm–9:00 pm

Meet at the statute of the Indian on the east lawn of the Capitol along Grant Street between Colfax and 14th avenues.  The cost is $20.00.

Wednesday, June 15: South Broadway, 6:30 pm–8:30 pm

Meet at 131 West Byers Place.  This is a private residence half a block west of Bannock Street.  (Byers is one block directly north of Alameda Avenue.  Bannock is one block west of Broadway.)  The cost is $10.00.

Saturday, June 18: The Seamy Side of Denver, 5:00 pm–7:15 pm

Meet at City Stacks, 1743 Wazee Street.  The cost is $20.00 per person.

Wednesday, June 22: Swallow Hill, 6:30 pm–8:30 pm

Meet near the horseshoe pits in the park along Park Avenue just to the south of 17th Avenue on the west side of the street between Downing and Marion streets.  The cost is $10.00.

Sunday, June 26: North Park Hill bicycling tour, 6:00 pm–8:00 pm

Meet in front of Stedman School on the east side of the 2900 block of Dexter Street.  (Dexter is seven blocks east of Colorado Boulevard.)  The cost is $10.00.

Wednesday, June 29: Seventh Avenue Parkway, 6:30 pm–8:30 pm

Meet at the bench near the northeast corner of Seventh Avenue and Williams Street.  Williams Street is six blocks east of Downing Street and five blocks west of York Street.  This is the Cheesman Park Esplanade extending south from the park at Eighth Avenue.)  The cost is $10.00.

Thursday, July 7: Capitol Hill, 6:30 pm–8:30 pm

Meet at the Capitol Hill Mansion, 1207 Pennsylvania Street—Pennsylvania Street is five blocks east of Broadway.  The cost is $10.00.

Friday, July 15: The Seamy Side of East Colfax, 7:00 pm–8:00 pm

This is a free lecture at Counterpath, an art gallery/bookstore  in an old filling station at 7935 14th Avenue (the northwest corner of Tamarac Street.  (Tamarac is the 8000 east block, 7 blocks east of Quebec Street.)
